Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest and most visited national park, located in northwestern Uganda along the Victoria Nile. The park is famous for the spectacular Murchison Falls where the Nile River forces through a narrow gorge before plunging down dramatically. Visitors enjoy game drives to see elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes and numerous bird species. Activities include boat cruises on the Nile, hiking to the top of the falls, wildlife viewing and birdwatching.
